Partly the reason I didn't like school, too many people I couldn't relate to.

I have the same problem a lot. That's why it's kind of easier to start with maybe a couple other people around so someone else can keep the beat going. :S

I hope you do make good friends. It's hard to start a friendship but once people see your true colors they'd be stupid not to like you.
