StayBeautifulHK NewbieI have the type of personality everyone either loves or hates...
Last yr, as a freshman in HS, I had some friends, but wayyy more enemies. It feels like everywhere I go I get judged. Judged for not being preetty enough, or being too pretty. For being to talkative, or too quiet. Being to immature or being to mature. Being too preppy or being to tomboyish...
That's why I'm homeschooled this year. Call me a quitter, but I didn't feel like being somewhere where I wasn't wanted...
FYI I went to a suuper small boarding school, only 50 students, so everyone knows everyone suuper well...
AND - this yr only one of my friends from last yr came back.. And she wasn't even a close friend...
For example, I was at a function last Friday and I wore this suuper cute fendora hat.. I felt like it. I had about 6 people come up to me and ask why I was wearing it. My answer, "I can." I felt like they thought I was a poser, or weird for a wearing a hat. Why can't I just wear a hat?? What's the big deal??
Why do people judge others' every move? Why can't someone just do something for the heck of it, instead of having a logical explaination that pleases everyone??
And why can't people just chill??
I think this might all be rhetorical. I just felt like complaining :)... ANNNNNND....I'm done... :P -
I could go into a major rant about human psychology for the 3 years I spent studying it but I won't because there's one phrase I can simply use to simplify my giant rant
and that is: People are idiots. Simple as that. -
Eh,people are stupid.Just gotta deal with I guess.

@anybody - Do you think it was wrong of me to quit my school (Ima call it WA)... Do you think I should have stuck it out?? I'm not usually a quitter, I just didn't see the point of staying somewhere where I'm not wanted... Everyone's happy I'm gone, I'm happy they're off my back... I just kinda feel a bit guitly for giving up... -

Running away isn't going to keep it off you. My mom's 43 and she deals with people at work who aren't much younger or around her age who are gossiping and talking crap like they're still in high school. Chances are, they're rookies or are much younger, so she has the intelligence and patientence to ignore them and do what she has to do. You can run away now, but there's no stopping it later.
People judge because you're different. Each snowflake is unique. Someone asks you why you're wearing something, tell them 'None ya damn business' and move on. -

I can so relate in a way! I am judge for everything. People need to shut up these days.
I one time wore a fadora hat to school also, people's reactions? They laughed and took it off from my head and decided to play 'a nice game of catch' This year I wore a kitty beanie, I was laughed at and had people saying things like, 'There's no point of that' SHUT UP I'M JUST DOING IT FOR THE FUN OF IT IS THAT ILLEGAL WILL YOU DIE FROM IT? Gosh ._. -
I don't. Emma and Ting kinda do. :P I just try to follow them.
You were wrong to quit. There are advantages to school. They build social skills for life ahead. And if you didn't like it there, why not switch? I'm going to the high school soon, so we'll be LOADED with students. Some I was glad they were gone, but now they're back and I'm stuck dealing with it anyway. There were days I wanted to leave. Days I wanted to just DIE. But I sucked it up and stuck with the friend's I can trust. :B
I may come across as a b----, but that's just how I am.

StayBeautifulHK Newbie@Lil - THANK YOU!!!!! What is the big deal?? I express myself through clothes, so why do you have to judge me for that???? Ok, what's worse, is one of the guys who was giving me the hardest time, his nick is Putt, wears the WEIRDEST clothes. Clashing neon colors and skinneys tighter than mine, bowties, and pin stripes, and just plain WEIRD clothes, and everyone loooves his clothes?? I don't GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I see where you're coming from. But I didn't have a choice. It's WA or nothing. My parents won't send me anywhere else.. Also, there's other reasons. The rules are suuuper strict (and I mean HORRIBLY), the staff are jerks, the teachers arent very talented, it's not accredited, it's extremely expensive, and I wasn't accepted back cuz the principal hates me.... ANYWAYS. -
It's fine, I talk a lot too, ask the people on here :P
I go to a school where we wear uniform (though I'm gonna be in highschool next year with free dress) and some people try to twist the rules with syle of what they call 'unique' but it's not because they do it to show off, but when others do something less common and not something to show off, we get laughed at. Mostly me cause I do the most craziest things on earth. -
Then a public school would be a better place. Everyone's different in their ways and there are many more people to meet.
