French and Spanish are somewhat similar too, I think. Some of the words are kinda the same. -

Yup, I know that French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese are Romance languages (meaning Latin, xD). I love learning bits and pieces of things, language can be really fun. ^^ -

Yeah, I've actually started thinking about doing some work as a translator someday, travel and language and culture. :D
Portuguese always seemed kind of out there to me, but Brazil is a huge place of speakers. Kinda cool. -

My cousin speaks Portuguese. Not much though. But the language itself is really nice .:D

Yesh, I'd love to meet and talk to people in their native languages, instead of continuing the stereotype that all Americans know is English. It'd just be really cool and even to help get messages across for help. Like working for a charity group or something too. ^^

I think I still remember Spain from when I was little. There isn't any beaches from what I remember, like in Cali, but the architecture is really pretty. :D It'd be great to see my old country again. ^^ -

Hopefully there are. ^^ Mexico has some really nice beaches, but with all the violence and killings going on over there, I'm not too keen on going there. I'd rather be safe and go to Spain~

Okinawa is actually a southern island of Japan, my dad was stationed there when I was very little. I loved it there. :D -
I just wish I weren't so scared about traveling. xD
Yeah, I remember how when I was a bit older, the place was really peaceful. Children would go to the city by themselves and there would be no danger. But right now, they're killing so many that it's too dangerous to go out. :/ Mainly in Juarez, though..
Hopefully the government will get it's lazy ass up and help, ne? I don't want Mexico to be ruined like this.
