Thread Topic: Your opinions please?
-
A friend of mine asked if I could do weight-lifting with him. I asked my mother if I could stay after school for it, and she said no.
Her reason was that I might get hurt lifting. A fairly good reason, I suppose.
I told him this, so he messaged her on Facebook asking her to explain her answer.
That is none of his business, to question my mother's decision. I told him this, so he messaged her gain, asking her again, and saying to her that my explanation as to why it was so rude to do this was confusing.
My explanation was that it is not the business of a high-schooler to demand and explanation from her. He doesn't get it.
What do you think? -
I think you really shouldn't care, Dude. It's not that big of a deal.
-
Maybe, but I have to hear about it everytime he does something like this.
-
Well, it's not really your problem, Is it? Youre not the one asking all the darn questions. T.T
-
I still have to hear it. She won't trell him how rude he is..
-
Was your Mom bothered by it? If not, then it doesn't really matter.
Give him props, he's got balls.
;) -
Um, yes, she was bothered. It was very rude.
So no, no "props." -
Eh, she was bothered. Tell him hat. Or, have your mom respond with something classy on his wall or something... that might clear his head.
;) -
I did tell him.
So he messaged her again and asked her to explain both why I couldn't go, and why it was rude for him to bug her with it.
Which made her madder. -
Did she post on his wall?
I think this kid is awesome.... smart ass, and has a lot of gaul to do that. -
Either that, or he's a stubborn ass.
-
Awesome... more stupid than anything else..
Yeah. A lot of gaul. That's not always a good thing. He doesn't understand what he's doing. And "Smart-***" is not the proper term for him.
I prefer "oblivious". -
It's none his damn bidness what your mum says. :P
Her answer is plain and simple. There's nothing to explain because it basically explains itself. So he had no right asking. -
Thank you, Mo.

hackerr Newbieu know it could be that he thinks he can get u to go weightlifting with him if he knows wat ur mom thinks will go wrong and finds a way to make it acceptable for u to do some weightlifting with him.
