Dylan heard a thumping noise but ignored it, rubbing his hands on Lilac's back.

I heard something. Probably my parents. I reluctantly stopped kissing Dylan and stepped away from him just as Mom came in.

"Hi." Dylan said as Lilac's mom entered the room.

"Dylan, we were wondering if you wanted to go shopping for some clothes, since we didn't see you come in with any other than what you're wearing," Mom said, smiling.

"Uh...sure." Dylan said, putting his hands into his pockets."I dont have any money though."

"We'd pay for it."

"I dont want to take advantage of you guys."

"You won't be." We were actually pretty rich... like, totally awesome daydream rich.
(Am I overdoing it?) -
(i dont think so)
"Okay. Well. When do we go?" Dylan asked, glancing at Lilac. -
(Okay. Good.)
"I dunno. Your choice," I said. -
"Anytime is fine, I guess." Dylan said to her mom.

"How about in a half an hour or so?" My mom said.

"Sure." Dylan smiled and looked at Lilac.

I looked up at Dylan.

He mouthed "I love you" when her mom was walking out of the room.
