I fell asleep quickly, still smiling.

Dylan fell into a fitfull sleep. He saw Lilac getting hurt in all of his dreams.

I had nightmares all night. They all including something happening to Dylan. Something horrible.

The next morning, Dylan gathered up his things and headed outside.

The next morning, I stood in the kitchen, talking to my parents.
"Mom, Dad... I met a friend..." I said.
"That's good honey," Dad said, reading the newspaper.
"Who?" my mom asked.
"A guy named Dylan. He needs a place to stay. I know we have that extra bedroom, and he's really nice..."
My dad looked up, pushing his glasses up on his nose. "Lilac! A-"
My mom interrupted him. "Sweetie-"
"Please? Pretty please? I swear, I won't ask for anything ever again..." I whined.
"... Fine." Mom looked at me. I grinned uncontrollably.
"Thanks! You're the best parents EVER!" I hugged them. -

(lol) Dylan walked to Lilac's house and knocked on the door.
(hobo party!) -
(Yes! Hobo parties are fun. Especially when you aren't a hobo.)
I opened to door and saw Dylan. "Hi!" I hugged him. -
Dylan hugged Lilac back and pulled away, suddenly very nervous.

My dad looked up at him, looked him over, and then went back to reading the paper. My mom smiled. "Hi Dylan. Lilac told me you needed a place to stay. You can-"
I took Dylan's hand and pulled him upstairs. -
"Thank you." He called down to her parents and was dragged up the stairs.
"You need something?" He smirked. -
"What do you mean?" I asked. "I'm just glad you're here."
