I walked into the cafeteria, once my grey contacts were in. Red eyes would put up a red flag in any of these people's minds... grey eyes? No one would tell the difference.
I sat at an empty table, as usual, and glanced around. Automatically, I saw the new girl, sitting with Toby and his friend. Something was weird about her... I just didn't know what.
(Sorry I disappeared, my computer's being stupid ) -

(Bad computer. Stop before I kill you, then feel bad, then have a funeral for you!)

I sighed and looked at my skittles bag.
"Yea, he's good. And he explained it like this: "It's the worst thing I'll ever feel." A six year old kid telling that to his freakish big sister. I wasn't even mad at him." I had been mad at my parents; they weren't home and they called in saying, "Oh, can you make dinner for Nick? We won't be there this week." I had been really mad because it was our first week in a new place and our parents had pretty much moved in then abandoned us.
It sucked. -

(Bai Claire...)

"That's good. And that sucks." I realized I'd been reading her mind still. "Sorry, I just can't help it. It's kind of like a nonstop buzzing. It gets annoying. Edward from Twilight seems to get it..."
-
(Bye Claire.)

I laughed.
"Oh, yea?" I smiled and ate a skittle. I felt someone looking at me. I turned and saw a girl with grey eyes. I smiled at her and motioned her to sit. I felt something off about her. Well, not off, but something I could relate too.. -
Hmm. So she's a mind reader? Condiering my hearing is very, very good, eavesdropping was one of my 'special skills'.
the only thing is that since she's a mind reader, she probably knows I'm listening. -
(My charrie isn't a mind reader... I can hurt people really, really bad. Torture them. Mwahahahahhaha. x3)
-
"Yep. Stephanie Meyer really got it down, considering the fact that she can't read minds..." I could tell that other girl was listening in. She had grey contacts. Red eyes.
-
(WAIT. Justt kiddingg. I fail. Super-failure. xD)
-
(My charrie, thankfully, doesn't light nuclear bombs and call the explosions mushrooms. That's my job. :D)
-
I laughed again and ate another skittle.
"I wonder..." I said, looking at my hands.
