I walked into the front doors of my new school and went into the office.
I've met the princepal once before. He was nice, but he's awkward. The princepal, Princpal Jenkins, gave me a slip that had my classes and my locker combo/number.
Then, I left the room to find my locker. -
I was looking in my locker when I saw her coming this way. It was obvious she was the new kid, looked like she was heading twards one of the lockers near me.
Terrific, another new kid is just what I need. Just...terrific. -
I love Lit. class...
I sat in the Literature room, looking up at the whiteboard. We were discussing Shakespear. And I got it more than other students. I loved being in advanced classes. -
I shyly look at the new kid, beautiful and not shy like I am. I blush and look away trying to avoid her. As u can see, I'm not the 'social' type. I head away when I feel her tap on my shoulder. "Um, can you help me find my locker?" she says handing me a slip. "Uhh...umm...yeah." I point to the empty new locker, looking dull as ever she heads over and says,"thanks" She doesn't say her name. You hurry away, feeling nervous...for no reason at all.

I watched the girl rush away. I opened my locker and set my things in. I closed the locker door and ran after the girl.
"Hey, I'm Abbi." I said, falling into step beside the girl, smiling. -
Class was over. Instead of talking to anyone on the way out, I left quickly and walked to my locker. I saw someone knew. I heard them, too. Their thoughts, anyway. I knew where their locker was. Two down from mine. Fun.

I look at her hesidantly. "errm. I'm Daena." she helds out a hand looking like she wants me to shake it. I look down and she awkwardly puts her hand away.

I bit my lip.
"Nice to meet you... Daena. Are you okay? You look a little pale?" I searched her face. Thank God, my power wasn't going out of control now. -
"yeah. Listen, Abbi, nice to meet u but I really have to go." I hurry to my friends and run to my class. The bell rang and Abbi wasn't in my class. Whew, I can't get too used to this. I hurry home and I hear her, Abbi, calling after me.

I kept listening in on her thoughts. The ultimate eavesdropping, Toby referred to it as. Toby was my best friend at this school, and the only one who knew.
Thank God, my power wasn't going out of control now. That caught my attention. What were her powers? -
(idk, viktor said he will be back in like 30 minutes. Nikki, u there?? xDD)
