Maru tossed the empty jug of milk to the side, going through the rest and pulling out anything that counted as food. There was but a tiny pile of cheese and bologna when she was done. She let out an irritated sigh, but sat down to split the food between her and Sihn. -
(Yeah...)
My father stood there, watching them. He was probably planning something. -
Sihn swallowed down pieces of meat and cheese, faintly aware of the human man-who had fallen on her and almost broken her arm with his weight- standing in a hallway nearby, watching them. She ignored him.
"What are you dressed so nicely for?" she asked Maru, gesturing to her white veil dress.
Maru blushed. "Jasmine and I were at a party.. that's all.." she muttered, chewing on a piece of bologna. -
He still stood there... just watching them like a creepy stalker.
I rolled over. Nothing good came of insomnia. Except for Owl City. But I didn't exactly have musical instruments or the song ideas. I closed my eyes. -
When the two had finished eating, they stood and walked to the door to leave.
(I have to go for a while.. Sorry!) -
(Okay.)
Dad watched them leave, but didn't move.
I finally fell asleep. -
