Thread Topic: Do people start threads about everything?

Italy's cuteness is never beaten. :D

The Coldest Sun NewbieCue dog, Name! Is it a boy or a girl? And what's it's name??
Si- Morose is a big word? It seems like a very common word to me. It means dark, sad, evil- you get the picture. But I like dark and mean and sad and evil, so I think that your picture is lovely. -
The Coldest Sun Newbie*cute* Please pardon my typing problems.
-
@The Coldest Sun - Aw thanks! Its a boy and his name is:
-
I think you'll find that the users of the forums on this site are sort of like an internet family. It's not like an everyday forum, which was what I initially thought, where you begin a thread on a particular topic or an issue and let users post their comments, maybe reply to one or two, it's very much every and everything. It goes from venting, personal issues, confessions, soaps e.t.c.
It's not seen as outrageous or scandalous here, it's very much like an internet friendship with some users where they give support, advice, condolences e.t.c.
I was rather confused of what the format was as a Newbie,(but that's a whole different story). As they say, though, 'if you can't beat them join them'. :) -
The Coldest Sun NewbieWoah.. Si, don't talk to me about how I say big words. Leah talks a lot more smart-like.
But that is a nice thought, Leah. Still, don't trust people you've never met to be kind. You talk as if everyone who posts on a thread will be friendly, but I've met some rotten people, and I know that people are flat-out vicious. Not every one is connected in this friendship theory of yours.
Name- his name is Stitch? -
@The Coldest Sun - Yesh. :DD
-
People start the strangest threads here, and they could be about anything really.
Plus theres not much else to do than take quizes and talk. -
THREADING ABOUT EVERYTHING IS WHAT PEOPLE DO!
But dun blame me, I don't make too many threads. -
The Coldest Sun NewbieName- Cute!! I've got kitty cats, but I don't know how to put pictures up. I have a husky named Athena. And five cats, named Rico, Monet, Cheney, Rommal, and Oreo. I've actually seen a lot of dogs that act just like cats. Does Stitch like to chase laser pointers?
6- whatever you say, I was just wondering. -
@The coldest sun..woW! Huskies are beautiful.
I dont know to honest, but he act more like a cat than a dog. He kinda looks like a fox too. :D -
The Coldest Sun Newbie:D I love that kind of dog.
And Athena is rather pretty.. Though I don't know how she can live through this heat with her fur... -
@The coldest sun -Lol! Really? Someone actually came up to us and thought we were walking a fox. LOL. :DD
Yeahh..They are really pretty dogs.. I know! Its flipping boiling..well.. -
Believe you me The Coldest Sun, I know well to the complete extent of some users' use of disrespectful language. I've posted, previously, an evidently respectful comment/opinion before, as a Newbie, but some users couldn't handle a different opinion from an 'outsider' shall we say, and so retaliated in the only way they knew how: aggressively.
I certainly don't trust people that easily, and hold no trust at all from random strangers on the internet. I have respect for everyone - whether it be on the internet or in the reality of life - but that does not automatically come with trust in my book. I can surely say I have not personally joined this internet family or friendship, but instead that closing sentence of my previous post was a generalization.
I may leave a smiling face at the end of my sentences, occasionally, for other reasons though. But it's certainly not out of ludicrously, naive optimism of the good and trust people may have.
It is quite the contrary. -
The Coldest Sun NewbieName- A small dog, right? Athena is a very large dog. We used to take her for walks, but it was more like she was walking us, and actually dragged my father completely across the street to inspect another dog she saw walking on the opposite sidewalk.
Leah- Distrust is a virtue, you know. In my book, anyways. It is good to see someone that knows not to trust easily. I like you.. we could be friends.

So am I a random stranger on the internet? You do not trust me at all?
