Dawn peeked down from a tree at him, raising an eyebrow "Could've fooled me"she whispered.

'Damnit!' a silky, male voice exclaimed. 'We almost had him!'
'Don't worry.' another one chuckled. 'I managed to hack into his thoughts. I know juuuuust how to get little Casper on our side...' -
Dawn yawned, climbing higher into the tree, zoned out again.

'Okay, th-that was close!' Casper panted, halting for a brief moment. Just to catch his breath.
'Seriously, we can't lose with this guy.' the male voice continued.
'What's so special about him?'
'He can see the past, present and future. He's a psychic! By the time we're done, we'll wipe out those Gracelings, and the whole town!' -
Dawn almost fell out of the tree at that, she quickly grabbed hold of the branch, a few leaves falling to the ground.

'Huh?' the creatures exclaimed in unison.
'Did you hear that sound?' the first one asked.
'Oh, it was probably just leaves.' the second laughed. -
Dawn quickly pulled herself back up, trying to tuck her hair behind her head. Glimpses of gold in the leaves wasn't a good sign.

'Maybe we should check the area.' the first suggested.
'Okay, okay!' the second growled. Footfalls were heard. Getting closer. -
Dawn climbed higher into the tree, trying to keep her hair from getting caught. It happened when she was nervous.

The two creatures roamed around the area. They looked like two young men, about Casper's age, with long hair and sparkly eyes.

Zero appeared behind Dawn, scaring her and almost knocking her out of the tree. Zero grabbed her arm, trying to tug her back up.
She whimpered, grabbing ahold of another branch and climbing back up. -
'All I can hear is a bunch of rustling sounds.' the second male complained. 'Let's just go back to the den, and tell the leader about the news, okay?'

Zero narrowed his eyes, and Dawn hissed, watching them. Zero's boa, Chi, watched them, blood red eyes narrowed.

'Okay, fine, just shut your whining.' the first one snapped. 'Maybe, with luck, we can locate both the town's Gracelings and our little stuttering psychic AND get him on our side.' with that, they turned and started walking away. 'This plan can't possibly fail!'

Zero slowely climbed down, tugging Dawn with him. His boa slid down, wrapping around his neck again.
"Shh Chi. They're not going to succeed."
