I lifted the bird gently and carried it to its cage. I placed it in its cage and shut the door. How long before I'd be doing that exact same thing again? I didn't want to know. I passed the large egg's nest. That egg was so stupid. All it did was sit there.

A loud CRACK was heard, coming from the room with the large egg.
Isis and Conner flew off. -
She finished with them, and on her way to the next room she heard a noise comming from the forbidden room as she called it.

I stopped walking as I heard a crack coming from the room. I turned around, prepared to ensure whoever came that I hadn't done anything. But the again, if it could get me fired...

"Its hatching!"One of the older members said. She unlocked the door, but before she could walk in a shard of rock hard eggshell pierced her chest. She dropped to the ground, dead.
Pur stared, wide eyed.
Cause you leave a lot, Kitty, and its hard to do soaps(for me) with a lot of people. -
I stared at the older member's body lying dead on the ground. I looked up at the door, watching for the next piece of eggshell.

Orphia gasped, backing against the wall to steady herself.

i leave a lot cuz i have to work at frickin vbs, and my parents only let me use the computer for 45 minutes at a time.

Pur blinked as the cracking stopped.
She walked over, getting screams from some of the other members to back away.
She walked inside, disapearing into the cold fog.
A small figure lay tangled in the chains. She sniffled, unable to move. The egg shell was shattered to pieces. -
I watched as a girl walked into the fog. Idiot. She probably was going to get killed. I wouldn't go in there, no matter what.

She watched silently as one of the other members walked inside. She wanted to go as well, but fear stopped her.

Most everyone had left into the safe rooms.
"Hey there..."Pur called, then called toward the door "Hey! Someone get in here and help me untangle this bird!"
