'Oh.' Persephone smiled, taking the girl's hand. 'Thank you.'

"No problem, name's Cam." she smiled.

'Nice to meet you. I'm Persephone, but you can just call me Seph.'

"Same to you, Seph."

Persephone glanced around the area. She just despised it when her paranoia kicked in. There was a rustling sound in the bushes. 'Cam? I think someone might be following me...'

"How d'you know?"

'Someone grabbed my leg earlier on, but I didn't see who it was. Before that, someone kept whispering my name.'

"Creepy."

Suddenly, a scream was heard nearby, followed by a low gurgling sound.

"Okay, now would be a good time to get the Hell outa here."

Persephone stood there, frozen in horror. What was happening? What kind of evil monster was out there?

"Seph? You okay?" Cam asked, waving her hand in front of her eyes.

The only think that broke Seph out of her trance was a severed arm, flying through the air and landing infront of her. She let out a horrified shriek.

Quickly, Cam grabbed Seph's arm and pulled her away. Towards the nearby town.

Gabriel whimpered, his oversized shirt and scarf making the four year old adorable.
"Bwu? Ivwy?"He called, ears flattened. He sat down and cried.
