Zola drew her sword, and lunged at one.

The scarewolf stood on all fours, and spun around in time to block.
But that gave the girl enough distractions to run over to Kat, and the girl picked up the bronze key, which quickly lit fire.
"Exspera!"she yelled, and one of the wolves became ashes.
Kat went to help Zola, sword in hand -
"I've never been the best at swords." Zola sighed, putting it up and bringing out her shadow, and aiming to claw one.

The scarewolf growled, but got struck.
"Exspera!"the girl said, and the other two became ashes. The remaining one whimpered and ran off.
"Hehe What's a wolf without his pack."The girl said, smiling. -
"You alright?" Zola asked, shadow disapearing.

"Oh, um yeah. Thanks!"she said, then Kat noticed the scar running across her cheek.
"Its a scratch.T.T"The girl said, glaring at Kat. "And by the way, I'm Kage Alovia." -
"I'm Zola, nice to meet to you."

"Kat"
"Nice to meet you both.."Kage said.
"How'd you get trapped like that?"
"I was heading from Janport to Cystel City, when those..brutes attacked me."Kage said, sighing. -
"Alone?"

"Yeah...I'm heading to get a job as a maid in the castle...that is if they want me.T.T"Kage said. She was about 15.
"Hum, well, we could escort you."Kat said, and Rose chirped. -
Zola smiled, and nodded.

Kage smiled, and the key shrunk. She attatched it to the string around her neck.
"Thank you!"
"No problem. We Should get going, though, the city gates close at night."
Kage nodded. -
"Right." And so, they set off.

At the gate, two young male guards stood. They blocked the girls from entering.
The blonde said "I have to warn you, strang things are happening in town. The Princess...she's acting strange."
Kage blinked, and Kat shrugged "Eh, just let us through"
The guards looked at each other, then opened the gate. -
Before entering, Zola turned to one of the guards. "What do you mean by strange?"
