offbeat has been a hub for soaps. But it has also been the forum for innocent randomness. People who want to go back to acting childish and not have to think about adult things go to offbeat.
Or maybe It's just me. When I came to gtq, i enjoyed the fact that after I went through my "adult" phase I could come back here and feel like a little kid again. Too bad as soon as i got used to that, all the actual little kids here, (13 - 15) year olds, started having their "adult" phase in every nook and cranny of the site.
My oasis was corrupted. And I was too blind to realize it couldnt be stopped. -
I know, I've been around a long time and I remember when offbeat was just nonsense and randomness. I've seen so many changes with this site, and met many different people. I changed, too. So I'm used to the now gtq like how I was used to the 09 gtq when I was 14. I'm sorry everything's different.
