"Yeah? She really sounds like a b----..."
Arata adjusted his pants and waited for him. -
"She kinda is. I mean, she's good at all the cook for you, be a somewhat decent mom part, but the whole mother-son relationship factor isn't there."
"Ready." He walked over to him. -
"I see. We'll go over when Arata gets here."
He took his hand and walked out. -
"Okay. I can clear the table if you want."
"So... where exactly is this home?" he asked. -
"That would be nice." He smiled.
"Not far. s--- I left the car there. Oh well, walking's good for you." -
He grinned back at him, getting up and bringing their plates to the sink.
"Okay. Walking's about as hard as getting drunk. Doesn't take much." -
"Thank you."
"Depends on the person." He walked up to the house and unlocked the door. -
"No problem. It's the least I can do."
"I guess. Nice house you got here." He looked inside. -
"NÄ«san!" Nikki ran in and hugged Arata.
"Hey, Nikki." He hugged back. -
Devin smiled, watching. There was some one with Arata who looked a bit... off, to say the least.
Brett eyed the boy watching him from the kitchen. -
"Who's this?"
"This is Brett. He's gonna stay here."
Nikki eyed him. "Boyfriend?"
"Yes." -
Brett looked at the boy who he assumed was Arata's brother. "Hello."

"Hi, Brett. I'm Nikki. That's my boyfriend Devin. We're just about to leave for his place."

I nodded at Brett, smiling a bit. I walked up next to Nikki.
"Hiya, Devin, Nikki. Have fun," he chuckled a bit under his breath. -
I? xD
"Thank you." He took Devin's hand and walked out. "See you tomorrow."
"Well...Here alone."
