When the waffles popped up, she put them on plates. "Syrup and butter?" she asked.

The two continued chasing each other, and eventually the neko tackled her.
"Cute..." she smiled. -
"Yes please." Niky said, licking her lips.

Jess put a generous helpind of butter and syrup on each waffle and grabbed forks and knives, setting them down on the table. She presented Niky with her waffle. "Dig in," she smiled.

"Thank you Jess." Niky said, her mouth full of waffly goodness.

"No problem," Jess replied, eating a forkful of the waffle.

Sighing, Akane stood and walked some more.

"SO, what are we gonna do today?" she asked.

Jess shrugged and swallowed her waffle. "Maybe we could hang out at the park and go swimming when we get home. I just gotta ask Mom if it's okay with her."

She continued walking around the park.

"Okay." Niky said, finishing off her waffle.
Now we wait -

Jess put the plates in the sink and headed up to her mom's room. She knocked on the door. "Mom? Can me and Niky go to the park?" -

Veyrun started to move into the neighborhood, trying to keep hidden. -
She enjoyed watching all of the little ones play. It reminded her of her younger sister.

Niky, while waiting for Jess, put on clean clothes and her favorite sweater.
