Akane stretched and sat up. Some sunlight pouring into the room.

"Mourning Jess." Niky said, hugging back.

Jess grinned. "School's out. Now I have more time to spend with you." -
Aw, bye *hugs*
"Yay!" the young neko exclaimed. She loved having Jess as her friend. -
Jess smiled even more. Not having any real friends outside of her home, she really enjoyed having Niky around. "Want some breakfast?" she asked.

Akane slipped out of the house, walking around the neighborhood. -
"Yes yes." Niky said, stomach growling at the mention of food.

Jess led Niky down the stairs and opened the fridge. "Hmmm... we've got toast, eggs, bacon, and waffles. What do you want?"

Heading to a park, she sat down, and smiled, watched the kids play.

"Waffles!" Niky said, "Waffles!"

Jess took out the waffles and put a two in the toaster, one for her and one for Niky.

"Can't catch me!" a little girl shouted.
A little neko gigled, and chased after her.
Akane laughed a little. -
Niky climbed up on her chair, and watched Jess.
