Sierra, or Sisi, a 13 year old girl who went to Kennedy High, walked alone along the concrete sidewlk with crimson and bright sun yellow leaves swirling up in little tornados around her feet. It as a gray day. Life was nowhere, death was everywwhere. These rainy, cloudy days had every one done. Depressed and sullen. Alaska was famous for this weather, so coming here was your own fault for catching depression. Sisi walked lone, head down, with her tan Columbia jacket pulled tight around her shoulders. "Hey, Sisi." Sisi heard, Justin, her bf, acling her name. She spun around. There he was, running out of the woods on a skinny gravel trail that lead up the mountain to an out-cropping where he lived. He caught up and slowed down, keeping in beat with her pace. they didn't talk, just walked. -
Soon the sidewalk gave way to the washed-out black road. It was now a grayish brown from rain and wind and the salt that was dumped by the gallons on it in the wintertime. Justin and Sisi walked slowly across, not looking for traffic since there was none. "Wierd," said Sisi from inside the collar of her jacket, "there's no traffic." Justi found it wierd too, but he didn't say so.

Hayley,an 11 year old girl try to have a great life but it really didn't turn out good. "I don't think anybody cares about me."Hayley mumbled to herself,but she knew her family cared and sometimes her friends. She tried to think of ideas that will make her life better but she already knew she still needs to get a little comfritable,moving was complicated.

Sisi and Justin crossed the street and walked along the tall, whispering blue pines that shielded the Riverstone Apartments from the hub-bub of tourist season. Sisi knew that Haley, her friend, livede here. Haley was shy and skittish, but Sisi sensed something else about her, something mysterious. It seemed that everyone had somethin to hide under the cover of the clouds.

Hayley walked outside her apartment and saw Sisi and Justin. "Hey guys..."she said shyly. Hayley wasn't only shy and skittish but she was also a bit clumsy. She smiled weakily at Sisi and Justin.

Sisi smiled at Hayley's awkwardness. She felt embarrassed of Hayley in front of Justin, but he only smiled. Hayley walked along with Sisi and Justin. Sisi was in the middle, Hayley on the left, and Justin on the right. Justin and Hayley were lke snarling dogs, and yet Sisi sensed something between the two of them. She made sure to keep them away from each other, just in case. Nobody spoke except for the wind the screamed and the pines the gossiped and whispered. School was three blocks away, they could see the faded brick and flagstone path, but little did they know, they wouldn't make it. A light blue junker, an old truck with about as much rust as car, slowly drove by them. You were suppose to go slow in this part of town becaue of tourist, but this one was going unusually slow. Justin pushed them over into the pines so that they were walking along the edge of the sidewalk. Screeeeeech! The car stopped and three men jumped out. "Holy s---!" Yelled Sisi. Justin kicked the first guy, only tobe captured by the second and thrown in the back of the truck. The truck had dark tinted windows so that you couldn't see what was inside. Clumsy Hayley tried to jump over a stone fence but was grabbed and shoves into the truck next to Justin. Sisi was uncousious as she was thrown in. One of the thugs had knocked her in the back of the head.

At that point,14 year old Angel Morgan arrived on the scene. She turned to Hayley 'Which way did they go?' she asked as she shook Hayley by shoulders 'Who are you?' Hayley asked in a puzzeled tone of voice,Angel let go of her shoulders. 'Thats not important,but I know these people. They'll kill Sisi and Justin if they get the chance.' Angel explained,Hayley stared wide-eyed at her. Suddenly,one of the thugs grabbed Angel and wrestled her to the ground...

Sisi layed in the truck and soon awoke to the sounds of scuffling and screaming. Justin was leaning over her. "What is that?" Jusin pointed to the window. She could just barely see outside, but what she did see scared her. The thugs were beating up a new girl, and Sisi reconized her as Angel. Hayley was nowhere to be seen, and Sisi celebrated silently.

Blood began to spew out of Angel's mouth and nostrils. For a few seconds,she could have sworn she was dead, but the feeling of a slap in the face woke her up. One of the gang was vaguely familiar,but she couldn't put her finger on it. The gangster held a blade to her throat 'Long time,no see' he chuckled 'We out-smarted you this time,girlie.Put her in the truck,boys.' Angel felt herself being dragged into the van, then,the slam of the door poisoned her ears...

Hayley found herself in a swamp,near the truck. Hayley quickly swam out of the swamp and up the hill. She saw the girl getting beat up. "STOP IT!" Yelled Hayley but one of the thugs pushed her down the hill. The thug laughed evily and Hayley had charged up the hill. "So you wanna fight?"the thug asked. He picked up Hayley and threw her in the swamp.

vamp alyssa walks up to sisi askin were is everyone she replies they are all gone and then celebrates. vamp alyssa is confused and dont kno what to do soo she goes outside where the thugs beat up another girl. the thugs see her and then vamp alyssa blacks out.

sisi screamed at the sight of blood and fainted. Justin quickly tened to Sisi. Balling up her coat into a pillow, and since the back of the truck was heated she wouldn't need it. Then the truck began to roll forward and he was thrown to the new girl. She was bleeding badly and Justin took a rag out of his back-pack. He as a mountaineer so he always came prepared. He mopped up the blood and tied up a gash on her head.

Hayley don't know how but the floor of the swamp got lower. "Help!" screamed Hayley. She was drowning! The thugs laughed. "Help!" she screamed agian. Nobody could hear her.

vamp finally wakes up and hears the scream for help she didnt kno what to do so she went by instincts and ran towards the girl and helped her out the swamp.. the thungs were angry and started coming at us.....
