I hate how people are like “oh I hate the Percy Jackson show Rick changed so much” but like if I was in Rick’s position (which I hopefully will be at some point in my life) I’d change everything I didn’t like about my book if I had a better idea and fix potential plot holes too

I like how he changed it
It's kind of a lose/lose either way for some people because if it's too accurate it's boring to watch since you've already read it (*cough* Harry Potter movies 1 and 2) but if you change elements of your story in your new adaptation suddenly it's 'too different' and nothing like the original -

And he didn’t change anything too drastic either like just small details that either fit better with the characters or the plot etc -

Funny, I think some of the changes were pretty drastic, but I didn't hate any of the changes (Other than the actor that plays Poseidon like why tf does he look so much like Gabe there's no way that's Sally's type xD) -
I mean like they didn’t change the course of the plot or anything so they weren’t like crazy (but I reread the book after watching the show so maybe that f---ed up my memory) (help poor sally xD)

Why was I not born in the century of monocles and top hats and cloaks and ball gowns and common circus visits and balls and canes smh
And the thing is I’m short sighted in ONE EYE not both eyes I’m short sighted in my left eye (which makes my glasses tilt because one lense is thicker than the other) so if I was a refined gentleman you can bet I’m wearing a monocle without it affecting my ability to see in my other eye -
