Thread Topic: Self-love / appreciation / positivity thread!
-
Hey guys ☺ I wanted to make a thread for people to discuss what advice helped you learn to love yourself and also to share any insecurities you feel comfortable sharing.
As some of you may know part of why I'm not online as much (apart from the 60 hour work weeks lol) is that I've been taking some time for my mental health and working on self love.
I realized that my body does so so much for me and never complains even when I'm treating it poorly. Learning to treat myself with kindness and acceptance has been the first step in building newfound confidence and health and I just wanted to share some of that positive energy I've found with y'all and spread some good vibes.
I just wanted to remind you all that you are gods & goddesses, beautiful, and you were designed by love. Your existence is one of the most statistically improvable events and other people see beauty in you where you see flaws.
The internet is a wonderful place where we are able to form friendships in spite of distance, age differences, time zones, and physical attributes that we would otherwise be judged for. I love being able to connect straight to the souls of you all and bypass everything else. -

Yes, thank you and all I just wanna say is your doing okay, I struggled with some things and I know what it feels like, so just keep trying to not see your flaws as terrible things and see them as what makes you different.
I love everyone, even if their jerks and I try and be nice and sometimes that doesn't work and they hate you but don't let them beat you down, your perfect and beautiful the way you are! 😊 -
i really needed to read this, and im sure others did too. tysm mint, its v kind of u to spread good word :]
i look at it as constant improvement/development; nobody's perfect because there's always room for improvement. a flaw u see in urself others might not see, but that's because we're in charge of our own character development <3 -
thank you, really, mint. this means a lot.
