Guys I found a bird egg and it was cold but I'm still trying to see if it can recover?? It was just on the ground bing chilling and I have no idea how it got there w/o cracking. Any advice on how to care for and keep it warm?

Nvm I think it might be empty D: I'll just look after it for a lil while to be sure

an egg would need 100 degrees fahrenheit of constant heat to hatch, but humidity n being sure it doesn’t overheat is rlly important too
but eggs that reach below 29 fahreinheit usually die sadly :( -
don't try to see if it can swim. it's not a good idea... trust me, i know from experience

Hey so there is a certain type of bird that lays eggs on the ground. Killdeer don't build nests at all. Their eggs are an off-white color with dark speckling!
But if it isn't a killdeer egg, putting it in your clothing might work. Or bottles of warm water, a heating pad... -
It's not a killdeer and I think it's a crow and it was lying on concrete, I think it's empty :( at least I gave it a chance tho

I mean empty as in devoid of life, there's still a yolk and such in there but no veins as far as I can see
