The theater group is doing Into the Woods auditions and I want to join SO BADLY but I'm too young goddamn it (By ONE YEAR-)
The director is so nice tho (it's a different one than Beauty and the Beast) because all my friends are doing it and I wanted to do it really badly so she went: "Hey, you can work as a backstage person and if the guy that plays Jack calls in sick, you'll play him, deal?"
Also she's trying really hard to make sure none of the stuff in Into the Woods is triggering or puts people too far from their comfort zone (because some of the stuff is not very suitable for kids to do to each other lol, and she wants to make sure nobody gets too uncomfortable by it) so instead of Little Red getting assaulted by the wolf, she's making it so the wolf controls her, like, marionette style, and it sounds SO COOL

I have a new movie recommendation for you that I think you'll like because you're also a gay ass theater kid
If you haven't seen it already (which I doubt it because you're way cooler than I am lmfao) it's Tick Tick Boom! Its SO GOOD (gonna explain the movie without spoiling any of the plot or anything)
Linn Manuel-Miranda directed it and it has the girl that plays Eliza (and I think Angelica but idk for sure) in it for a scene
Also it talks about the stupidity behind homophobiaaaaaaaaa
It's on netflix
Also if you do watch it, get ice cream or some comfort food at the last 30 minutes because I was f---ing SOBBING at the end so like-- -
And my little sister was watching it with me and I think she's traumatized-
And my dad saw me scrolling through Netflix, pointed at it, and went: "dude this might be one of my favorite movies" and then walked off -
