this isn't new news technically, people have known this for a month, but the new book, the Wrath of the Triple Godess (which is a Hecate reference YESSS) Is coming out (in the USA at least) on SEPTEMBER 24 so slayyyyy -
Dude Rick is playing 4D chess with this series because:
He casted the main 3 for the tv show knowing full well that people would riot (not just over Leah being black (which f---ing sucks that people hate her being casted for that like grow up losers) and Aryan being middle-eastern (? i didn't research that for sure lol) but also just for them not looking like the original book says which whatever) so then Rick made a new book in the PJO series which is pretty much the most loved series he's made knowing that old fans that rioted over the casting would read it and maybe watch the series after because of that while also exciting new fans
