yeah, recently one of my coworkers has been exceptionally bad at his job and, as assistant manager, I've passed this information along to our boss because I thought that's what an assistant manager is supposed to do?? but boss knows he and I don't get along, so she's accusing me of pointing out his insubordination out of petty animosity. I feel really disrespected and like I'm an assistant manager in title only, since apparently when I try to perform basic managerial functions I get told to "just stop" because apparently he b----es about me to her and she's sick of hearing about it. so now I guess I have an employee I am not permitted to discipline, who already shows patterns of insubordination and failure to perform his assigned tasks. you know, just not feeling it anymore. -
