She took Jess's hand and shook it. "I'm Halianna...or just plain Hali."

"Wish we could've met under better circumstances."

That was when Arnold saw a whole new side to the Mistress. He realized she was a wicked witch who just wanted to control him. She seduced him into doing her evil bidding, and getting all the blame. He marched over to the room where Jess and Hali were, and kicked the door open.

"Yeah."Hali said, then jumped when the door was kicked open. She turned back to the door.

Jess stared at Arnie, scared.

Arnie had a serious look on his face, almost dissapointed. 'Come on.' he demanded, quietly.

Hali blinked, looked at Jess, and followed Arnie..

Jess followed as well, a bit confused.

He lead them to a chute that he had fixed in. It lead to the outside world. 'I normally wouldn't do this.' he began. 'But I'm letting you go.'

Hali blinked, and said "You have to be kidding me...your lying"She said.

"And I overheard 'Mistress' say you'd die, so why do it?"

'I know it seems like that.' Arnie agreed. 'But for once in my life, I'm serious. I want you both out.'
'ARNOLD!!!' a shrill, screeching voice howled, her eyes burning with rage.The Mistress. 'YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T LET THEM GO!!!' -
Hali raised an eyebrow and looked at Jess.

Jess tilted her head at the mistress, then inched over to the chute.

Arnold turned to Jess. 'Because I don't give a damn anymore.' he replied.
'YOU IGNORANT LOWLIFE!!!' Mistress screamed, punching him in the face. 'I KEEP YOU SAFE FOR ALL THESE YEARS, RAISING YOU AS MY OWN, AND YOU BETRAY ME?!'
'You weren't raising me.' Arnold retorted. 'You were enslaving me. I waited hand-and-foot for you all these years. I don't care if I live or die. Go ahead and kill me.'
