Yes. My bio mom has me. And my bio dad and stepmother hate her and me. So I have been disowned and am unable to ever see those kids again. The best I have is a picture my stepmother posted on Facebook.

Ah, it's alright. In a similar vein to something else you said, if it weren't for all that happened I wouldn't necessarily know the great people that I do now and wouldn't be the person I am.
Yeah...I think the problem was just that, the school itself was a kind of clique, including the parents and teachers (my parents have told me that they were like that, so it wasn't just me feeling that way) so they didn't really care about the well being of those that weren't the in-group .-. The woes of private school lol. And my parents only sent me there because they thought it would be better for my mental health >_<
I agree. I think something like that would have done everyone there a lot of good. It definitely should be implemented in every school. -
I'm so sorry, Alex. That must be so painful for you. If it's any consolation to you, it seems likely at their age that they'll remember you. I never thought I'd meet my dad, but now I live with him. He never thought he'd find his brothers and sisters, but I found them for him and we all talk regularly now. The beautiful thing about people is that they want to know. The younger generations are trending on the more progressive side, and there's a good chance that those kids will outgrow their ignorant parents. And if they do, who knows? Maybe you can find them when they're too old to be controlled by their parents. Maybe, before you ever get a chance, they'll seek you out. You never know.

I know we don't talk often, Alex, but I'm here if you need to.

Now you sound like my grandmother. She said that. I do hope they remember me. Phoebe always said bye to me when I left for school and it sounded like she was saying banana. No, she always said, "Bye, Nana." Or "Bye, Enna." It was so cute the way she pronounced my dead name.

I'll take that. Don't give up, okay?
-
I won't. I won't give up.
-
Good. I'm here for you.
-
Thanks Road. I appreciate it.

Of course.

(I realize now that you were probably responding to the other Alex there, with at least your post right after mine, but it actually applies enough to what happened with me too that I legit thought you were talking to me lmao, so I wrote the below and figured I'd post it anyway. May be worth calling me Alek, since that's what I've often gone by on here due to the presence of other Alexes lol)
You know, that's actually exactly what happened with my friend. They lost my phone number early on, so for years they would call my home's landline. but the messages were always full, and for years the landline was entirely unplugged, since it had been rare to ever get a call from someone we knew on there. So I never knew. I just thought we'd gone our separate ways and I didn't really think they'd even want to talk to me given the chance.
In all the years, I had wondered about them, but never heard anything because of circumstances. But in, early 2019? I think? My parents finally decided to clear the messages on the landline. And not long later, they left a message and we got back in contact. And it's crazy the experiences we both had while separated like that and yet had in common. As an example, one of the first things we talked about was my favorite band, Starset, but I didn't bring them up, they did! Kinda broke my brain for a sec when that happened lol.
So, they sought me out, for years, when I would never have expected that.
Thank you. And the same goes to you :-) -
oh, sorry, alek then!!
that's so cool, I'm glad you found your friend again!!!! -
It's alright, it's actually hilarious how this is something that STILL happens on this website XD
I'm glad too, we're quite close now and it makes me really happy ^_^
