And if you dropped out: what first drove you to getting into uni/picking your degree

Thought it would pay well, would get me into the military as an officer with higher pay. I’m also good at math and am very hands on. Ended up getting married, no plans of joining the military. Start an entry level job in my field in 3 months for $2 less than what I’m getting paid in retail management.
