But let me ask you is it really peace or are we just causing our selves to drown?
Oh life gets hard and hits you like a stone
One small step, and you might just not make it home!
But as confusing as it may sound
There is a place where all peace is found!
I will stand for peace in my life!
Let there be some or there might as not be a life
We will stand for peace in our lives!
But if there is war for it, is it really peace at all?
Oh I just fought off all of the world
Now all I have left is my own home
Broken with shame and sorrow and pain
Is there anything I gain?
Oh there may not be peace in my life
But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t carry on
Lift each other up to seek fulfillment is right
Oh and stop throwing back those stones!
And all I want is peace in my life!
Don’t know how, but I got to do this right
Oh and in life there may be only strife,
But strife is the reason we are trying to live right!
We can’t have peace in our lives
But may seem dark but the truth is that there is none
We keep this balance in our lives
Or we may not be living right?
We hold the keys but we just ain’t using them
So stop fighting that fight
Put down your swords and stop hurting your brothers
And we just maybe might have peace -
At least, that is what I think.
