A little bit of an overreaction, tho?
I mean, people offend others unintentionally all the time. You really just need to take time to recognize what you're doing wrong, own up to it, and push to improve on it. That goes for anyone you meet anywhere in life. -
I was going to write a long paragraph but I'll just make this short and sweet.
The community here really let the1forU down. You didn't have to like them but they genuinely weren't trying to be mean and most of their beliefs were taught to them by their parents. It's extremely hard to unlearn conservative ideology and 100% not the child's fault. All pushing them away does is engrain the notion further that "people don't like me because they don't respect my beliefs." And that makes them even less likely to change their mind about the opposition.
I get the whole thread bumping thing but they were genuinely apologetic and you guys replied to their apology by being kinda rude. Whenever I corrected them they were extremely apologetic and never repeated that behaviour again
I said I wasn't going to write a paragraph but here I am. If you're seeing this, The 1forU. I'll miss you and I accept your apology. I wish you the best in life. -

The1foru, you don't need to leave. I'm sorry if you've been made to feel like people don't like you, and I apologize if I played a role in making you feel that way. Disagreements are bound to happen, but they don't necessarily mean you're not welcome here. I hope you decide to stay. You're a promising member of this community.

I'm sad we never had the chance to talk and I hope our community will treat you better should you ever decide to show up again. I'd like to think we'd be more understanding of new users not understanding the site and unspoken rules by now

The thread bumping thing shouldn't be a reason we don't like him. It didn't bother me all that much when he did it to me, and stopped the first time I asked. It was honestly me being passive aggressive by deleting his posts without asking for him to stop.
For the other reasons he's leaving, I don't think I have a say in that, but I do think his treatment was a bit harsh. Please correct me if I'm going to far in saying this or if any other the topics I mentioned are irrelevant or don't make sense
