GAH! I f---ING HATE MINECRAFT!
*throws a chair into the wall* -
If I'm being honest I thought afab or amab WAS the correct way to ask? Seemed sort of PC in my brain but I also sometimes thing being gay works like pemdas. I am bi so when a guy would tell me they were gay I'd think "sweet. I'm also gay so this works."
-
I absolutely don't mean any of that in an offensive way btw . I mean it in the most lighthearted way possible
-
I think they were saying that people don't like being asked what their s.x is. I understand that and in no way am I trying to force anyone to answer the poll, or ask anyone directly.
-
In all seriousness, if you were a physician, perhaps that would be necessary to ask, however, in the casual setting, it's not socially polite. For agender people like me, we don't like to think about what we were born with in our pants; we just live with it. Perhaps the question would be more understandable and welcoming if you asked who was male, female, Trans male, Trans female. Usually asking in this way is a softer approach(???)
Still, there will be some who are unwilling to answer that. -
I'm not a genius, so don't totally take my word for it. Lmao
And no offense to anyone who disagrees. -
For me, asking that question, seems to invalidate someone's gender. Separating trans male from male just feels kinda iffy to me.
-
💞 Yes, It's just a very uncomfortable question and it's troubling for a lot of people who don't identify with their sex assigned at birth. Also, a genuine question as to why you were curious in the first place? I don't understand why you want to know what's in people's pants.
-
I said don't totally take my word for it. I just know that some transgender people are comfortable with answering that way while others might not be.
-
First of all, gender doesn't have anything to do with s.x. Secondly, I was just curious. S.x doesn't just have to do with what's in pants, it also affects height and strength some.
-
Some people identify as a female, others male. I personally chose to identify as a mistake.
-
Gender is a sense of identity of one's self. It's what makes you feel the most like you. It's beautiful in that it can rarely be clearly defined because it's unique to each individual person. So asking a poll about gender just seems weird to me, because I would be very hesitant to try to force labels on someone's gender.
-
You could put Unlabeled as one of the options
-
I assume your talking about a poll on gender, correct me if I'm wrong.
-
Yeah xD
Sorry I didn't clarify lol
