Got my license this year so that was cool. Bought and sold my second car ever.

You’re gonna do great next year. This year was tough but I like to think you’ll be there in the future. I hope you haven’t given up yet. It’d be awesome if you adjusted to Maryland by this time next year, found better friends, and are living a life you love. I almost feel like if things go well, you’ll be on top of the world and living the best life.
You’re still amazing no matter where you stand. Hopefully you still remember Texas and are in touch with all your old friends. I hope Alex had visited by then, and I hope Asher’s a happy thing instead of something you cry about.
Anyways, I also wish I knew what progress you’ve made on your art. I guess you shouldn’t give up, since a year is a lot of time to grow and get better.

Dear Future Jade,
This year was hard; but hopefully in the future you have found a way to cope with the grief you're going through. I know you have an appointment to get your license in February, so hopefully that goes well!
If there is anything I could tell you; it's to not give up. You have gotten so far in life, and you are finally reaching those dreams you wanted so many years ago. By this time next year, hopefully you are a full time technician; or you work for the train. Which ever way life pans out. I think either option will be good for you.
Also; start making time for other people. There is more to life that going to work, going to sleep and repeating. Life is hard; but you can't replace the people who are in it.

But hey, hopefully things will get better mentally. 2021 was tough, ngl. Trying to come out of the closet and failing greatly, finding even more things to hyperfixate on, making friends, and dealing with mental issues that some people will never understand. It was a total roller coaster.
One whole year and 4 months on this god forsaken website. Time flies, and many people come and go. But I'm still here, for some reason.
Now, future me, remember it will get better. Life is worth living. Just because your family doesn't care, does not mean that no one cares.

Dear Rosio,
I want to start off with saying that 2020 was by far the worst year you've ever experienced. But ironically.. it was also one of the best, and that's only because of your special person. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.. And you ended up with a broken heart and challenging year. Please don't pretend to be okay, alright? It's okay to not be okay. Cry. Scream.. But please don't keep yourself in this hole for too long. Make next year a better one.. Even if its without your person. But most of all, please learn to be okay with yourself. Learn to love yourself a bit more. Get to know her. Spoil her. Treat and love her the way you loved him. Please don't lose her to this..
Learn to loosen up a bit more. I'm actually proud you stepped out your comfort zone. It was never this easy for you, but you sort of got the hang of things now. Now go out there and show the world what you are capable of. I know how ambitious you can be.. It's one of your best traits, but it's also your downfall.
I hope by now you had locked on into buying your family a new home. How is it? Is it roomy? Did it help your stress a bit? Or is it as depressing? I hope it's not the latter, because this new home is something you're working hard for. Not just for you, but for the people you love.
I also hope you got your license too, haha.. You are long overdue with getting that. I'm sure you're going to get it, though. I also know when you do, you'll work hard to get your own car as well.
Please go out and travel, as well, okay? I know you already plan on meeting someone in person for the first time (how that that go btw?), but besides that, I would love to know what trips you've taken. But if you are unable to, no sweat. It's better to stay healthy and safe anyway.
It's going to be three years working at the same job soon. Remember that it's okay to quit if things aren't working out anymore. This is the longest you've kept a job for. Only quit for your own good. You were always smart with your money. Don't lose focus on that, either.
Right now you got into rollerblading. I hope you keep that hobby around. It's always nice to try something new.
I really hope the new year treats you right. We don't need another replay. Take care, and remember that you always come first.
