You actually made it. Things are a lot better and your future has some light in it, but it gets dark sometimes. But everyone in the world is doing their best with what they have. That's important to know. You learn things about the world every day and you should be proud of how you've grown. You're worth something. Please remember to love the people around you, including yourself.

Dear future self,
Well you know that 2020 was the worst year of the two COVID years. You even tested close to positive, but never got the disease. Luckyyy. In december 2021, LIKE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, a friend of mine died. We knew each other like peas in a pod, and that pod existed since middle school. A lot of the times we moved, and you don't think we will ever have a forever home xD, but we always knew we could be together, cause where we lived was only like 3 streets away. Probably even in the same neighbor hood. You know your sad and you miss him. You will for the rest of your life. Things will get better, don't worry.
2021 wasn't a big deal tho, cuz many stores started to open up. Nice

That's probably gonna date this if anything. Let's talk about our crazy year. Dropped out of school, got into a different school through a program, got denied to going to that school, quit the program, looked around for new schools, finally found one! Starting this January, I'm nervous I'm going to mess it up. Hopefully I won't and you'll be graduated!
Let's talk about my hair! Dyeing it all aquamarine! Excited to see if I turn hot with it. Can't wait to hear about how my appearance changes throughout the year!
Let's talk about your living situation. Your parents live here with you, along with Xauqi, our pretty kitty. Though we're changing the spelling to Zashi. You still live with gammy and gampy.
You need to socialize more. You only talk to your family irl. Get a friend or two, will you? Oh, maybe work on being vocaloid trash. Haha. Maybe get a job and your drivers license? Think about it.

Ok, 2021 was probably one of the worst years of your life. Here's hoping 2022 is infinitely better for you.
Here's my advice to you: FOR GOODNESS SAKES TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
Including but definitely not limited to
- Brushing your teeth
- Washing your face
- Eating healthy
- Keeping your room clean
- Get rid of bad habits in general
- Take some time for yourself. If you need alone time, just tell your mom and she won't bother you with things to do.
- Don't be afraid to share troubles you're having with people you trust. If they're not willing to listen, they don't really care about you.
That's all I got right now. Have fun, be good, all that jazz. -
Howdy, little Road. It's nice, as always, to hear from you.
-Our first goal was to find a job we could live with. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet. We had a good thing going with UPS, but we couldn't keep up. I'm not giving up yet. I'll keep working until I find us something good. I know I'm close.
-We pursued music relentlessly this year, and finally put out our first ever EP, heaven is empty. ✨ We worked hard on it, and I'm pretty proud of it. I'm not a big fan of the guy we worked with, so we won't be collaborating with him again, but we've got more partners to work with. Keep your hopes high.
-This is... truly awful for me to read. I know how important our siblings are to us, but I'm having a lot of trouble maintaining favorable opinions of some of them, and others are drifting away. At the very least, you've got about 15 friends that care enough about you to join a group chat full of people they've never met before and interact with it daily for you. I bet you never would have expected that, right? For all your self-loathing, I know it's hard to believe there are genuinely people that love you. I will cherish them.
-You let your plants die, you heartless monster. The ones your dad didn't adopt, anyway. You're definitely not a gardener. Not yet, anyway. Maybe we'll do better next year?
-We 👏 got 👏 insurance 👏 this 👏 year👏!!! Whoo!!
-Our savings account never had a chance, but maybe we'll do better next year. I don't have high hopes for this one, honestly. I'm terrible at managing money.
-........We collected many more books. Haven't finished reading the first one yet. Sorry, bud.
-We are drawing more!! And we're getting better! Peep this s---!

I'll recap a few key points of the last year. It's
holy s--- it's almost been a year since we started dating Ephina. What are we gonna do for our anniversary? Let me know what you come up with.
You still live with your dad. Things have been tense, but still infinitely better than your prior living situation. You crashed your car in October, and still don't have a new one. Let me know how that works out? You've gone through a few jobs this year. Taco Bell to UPS to KFC. Find a place to settle if you can. This is getting old.
Alright, so our goals for the next year:
-Get a new car.
-Pay everyone back.
-Start and keep a new job.
-Lose some weight?
-Try gardening again.
-Develop all of your OCs.
-Build up and maintain a new savings account.
-Maybe..... put out a full length album this year? I don't know, that's a stretch, but wouldn't it be cool?
-Treasure Ephina. Hopefully get her moved out here and move in with her by Christmas of next year. I don't know, that might be a stretch too.
