I can empty out one of those big boxes with wheels on the end I use for cat food and fill that up and just push it 4 solid miles.

do it in the treeline, then you don't have to walk more like you do if you go to the forest, and there are less animals, dig a very deep hole and DO NOT break the glass, when your done if you want to remember where they are make a mark on the closest tree
