i believe strongly in acting with good intentions always, regardless of how others treat me.
i don’t believe in letting my personal issues with people stand as a wedge in the kindness I know i’m able to give.
i’m not perfect of course and i mess up sometimes, but ultimately i always try to act in kindness even to those who would not return.
i’d feel very guilty if i stooped to that level and it wouldn’t reflect my values either.
i also remember that kindness does not mean that you’re allowing others to walk on you. kindness is honest and realistic and it goes both ways anyway, so yeah lol -
axel and I are on two completely opposite ends of this spectrum

Just because you act kind to them doesn't mean you have to trust them, or anything like that. Be an example to them.

Bad people are counting on the "bigger persons" to let them get away with their bulls---. They're responsible for their own personal development- it's not my job to suffer gracefully for the sake of their growth.

Spite and grudges won't do a thing to help them change for the better, if anything it may just invigorate them to mistreat people more.

If they want to base their s---ty personalities on the opinion of a single person they don't even respect enough to treat properly, that's entirely on them. Once again, they are responsible for their own personal development.

No. If people mistreat me once, twice, I'll let them know. If it's a repeated offence, then I've had it. They haven't listened to me or respected what I've said nor any boundaries. If they see me being kind despite all of that, they'll think it's okay to keep mistreating me. It's not my duty to keep putting up w that sort of bs or playing kind in those circumstances

I think I'd try to be nice, but I would let them know that there is no way that mistreating me or anyone else is okay.
