Did it work?

Did what work?
-
The picture? I took one and posted it. Did it work?
-
No.
What you have to do is upload the image to this site.
Copy the image address, and paste it. Since you're not a Junior yet you have to put a space between the https and the :// in order for it to show up on here. -
[no urls]

What the h---?!!!

The reason they do that is so that new users don't spam everything all the time. Sometimes it's a blessing, honestly.
Anyway, your stuff seems pretty good! Would you like some advice or should I just keep to myself? Lol -
Wait you saw it?
-
Yeah. I copy and pasted the url into a new tab, took away the space, and pressed enter.
-
Oh. And yes I want advice.
-
Dragonfire, are you on??

So in all honestly, it looks like an inflatable version of the character.
I did notice it looks like you made the head before you made the hair, which is good. I remember when I first started drawing heads I would do their hair first and then draw their face in the hair, and that was a big mistake.
I can't tell if you drew the chin first though. If you didn't, always always always draw the chin first when you're drawing a face. It makes the whole shape of it just fall into place.
If his arms are supposed to be at his sides, they need to fall directly under the shoulders. This will make it much more natural-looking.
If the hand holding the shield is in the same spot as his right one, then the shield will have to be lower. If he's bending his arm, then the shield is in a good spot.
For his torso, it looks like one of his sides go out and the other goes in. Unless he's bending in some odd way, it needs to be the same. He can't be half skinny and half chubby.
I can barely tell if he has hips or not.
Also I can't tell if you put knees on him or not. It almost looks like he does, but those knees would be too high up.
From the way his legs are positioned, it looks like he has his feet pointed out to each side instead of pointing straight in front of him.
Another thing that helps me is I always draw the figure first before I draw the clothes. Even if they're wearing a dress, I sketch the legs. Just an outline of them, that way I know how to position the clothing on the body. -
Sorry that was way more wordy and sounded much more harsher than I meant it to be.

Okay. I based it of off a Percy Jackson character. I f you know what it is.
