It kinda faded away (due to too many people and lack of motivation to respond ig)
But I typed out a crap ton of lore months and months ago in preparation for the roleplay, and I even drew some characters... I fear they'll never see the light of day though, so here's a lore dump for my own amusement.
Fantasia was originally an army base.
Over 100 years ago the army fought monsters who were stealing the powers of other creatures in order to have all power, every power.
Main kidnapper is the descendant of one of the monsters, his name is Harley
•Principal is amalgamation, originally worked for evil monsters before getting saved by the army and turning the tide of the war by fighting on the good side (along with other rescued amalgamations)
•TEA - the everything amalgamation. Most powerful monster, destroyed part of the world (there's a big crater/crack cities wide- maybe even the sizeof a state or small country)
•Viceroy - Scientist to blame for monster war. A genius who came up with a way to take powers and combine features of creatures (genetic engineering but hella advanced basically)
•Francisco - Scientist's second in command. Francisco was also the one mainly funding Viceroy's experiments. Viceroy then betrayed Fran by stealing Fran's plans and ideas for TEA (Fran was the one who found a way to make TEA without having it blow up or die immediately from how big and powerful it was, but Viceroy wanted TEA for himself)
•Viceroy and his TEA ended up losing the monster war, Francisco was briefly imprisoned for war crimes, but he escaped confinement and went into hiding... more than a a century later, his great grandson is gonna accomplish what Fran could not.
•Viceroy died in final battle.
•Francisco's great grandson: Harley
Viceroy's great granddaughter: Rosalind
*Viceroy died, but his wife was preggo, she birthed [Rosalind grandpa],
Rosalind's grandpa and Rosalind grandma birthed Rosalind's mother, Rosalind's mother then got funky with a demon and they had Ro, but she knows none of this considering her mom didn't want to raise a half demon and set Ro up for adoption, coincidentally she got adopted by Raynne's mom, who's an angel
Harley's dad is in prison (for crimes not related to the Viceroy and Francisco drama) and his mom is a scientist.
Harley has always had a pull towards dissecting things, even if they were still alive, even towards his own peers... Even towards himself. Harley has inflected surgery on himself and he's got a few surprise abilities
(Flight, teleportation, mist, shadow)
The more he uses these dark abilities, the darker his skin gets. It .. taints him, in a way.
[UNFORTUNATELY I don't have a drawing for Harley, but imagine someone with, like, dark hands and feet, like it's slowly creeping up through them. Star vs FOE style]
Harley's closest colleagues: Xoria, Tempera, Gavin, Junior
Harley's bodyguard is Xoria, who's a vampire and Satan's third cousin twice removed.(JD, Mothman, and Lucy's distant relative as well)
Her family was bound to the Franciscan family. They were raised to be in service to them (Franciscans were hella rich before being evil). When Harley found Xoria she pledged her allegiance to him immediately.

Tempera controls temperatures and weather (includes body temperature)
Tempera is a half archangel half wind nymph; before experimentation, her powers were simply slight weather abilities, making things a bit colder, causing slight rain (drizzle), and also she could stay aloft a bit longer than normal, and if she fell she'd be able to glide softly to the ground. Her wings were not powerful enough to allow full "flight".
After Harley's experimentation, Tempera is a lot more powerful, and she can fly better due to her being more in control of wind and gravitational pulls.
"She who flies with a halo broken"
Gavin is a half werewolf, he doesn't transform under the full moon, he's just in a constant state of sorta-transformed (almost furry-like, but mostly human).
Gavin, only part werewolf, was shunned from his pack. Harley eventually found him and Gavin promised to stay loyal to him since Harley gave him a home. Since Gavin was raised around the streets, however, he had no proper education and he doesn't know how to read or write. He's a dirty fighter, and he's always eating something.
"Stank"
Junior is the shortest and youngest, but he has the ability to control a demon, and the demon has the power to control blood (deadly deadly 10 year old woth friends in high places)
Junior found a demon when he was a toddler and saved the demon from a hunter by hiding the demon in his little bookbag. The hunter didn't suspect a thing, demon granted Junior his protection in gratitude.

Note: Gavin is an adorable idiot
Tempera was experimented on by Harley and is Harley's longest and most trusted ally (with Xoria being a close second)
Harley's 10 step master plan:
1. Infiltrate school, disguised as simple students and classmates
2. Find out the school's secret codes, passwords, secret chambers, etc. Gather intel about TEA and how to awaken it again. Gather intel about the team that put down TEA and their families (this is how they find out about the principal, Ms Graves, along with Rosalind)
3. Steal any documents/books related to Franscisco and Viceroy so that the school is left informationless and unprepared when the battle comes
4. Kidnap peers along the way, befriend them, lead them to [the spot] and take them to the hideout so that Harley can experiment on them
5. Kill ANY AND ALL that find out about Harley, no matter the cost. Harley must have the element of surprise after a century of peace
6. Kill or kidnap the descendants of the team that put down TEA so that they won't be able to destroy it again (this would be some of the teachers and staff members, later down the roleplay administrators would start dying mysteriously or missing school)
7. When kidnapping, keep in mind what we want. Fighters, powerful magical users, strong people, skilled people. We're trying to create the perfect soldiers.
8. Any one who is kidnapped will either have their brain washed, mind wiped, or be tortured until they comply and agree to stay on Harley's side. Mind wiping is last resort.
9. Loose lips sink ships
10. War will start once Harley has TEA and an army: size doesn't matter, only strength. Harley will begin his first attack on the city next to Fantasia, then close in on Fantasia itself.
Now here are some students that go to Fantasia that I drew (bc wouldn't it be hella obvs who the bad guys were if I only drew bad guys?)
^^^ Sipson. Melty boi who is of a homemade species that I call Slimera.
^^^ Betsy. Human cursed with a demonic curse.
^^^ Caspian. The youngest triton of over 20 siblings, and even though he's of royal lineage he has no hope of becoming king and is somewhat abused by his siblings.
I believe their name was Alaska?? I kinda forgot about them, but they're from a pretty rich and well-known ice clan. They have the power to become a giant beast.
This beast mode power was granted to them from the elder of their ice clan and they have to use it to protect the clan when they come of age. I also forgot their gender... oops. It's been a long time, okay!

---but I'm pretty sure he was a half-orc and he was gonna be introduced later as a fellow student. Pretty shy for someone of orcen descendent, and he doesn't like raging or fighting.
Now, for the interesting fact about Junior:
Since we never got that far into the Fantasia roleplay, I made a character based off of him (still named Junior, but the backstory is kinda different) that I intend to introduce in the We're Off to See the Wizard roleplay!

I am highkey rereading Fantasia right now and DAMN we coulda done so much more...
Rosalind and Mothman would have been engineering BEST FRIENDS! They coulda built so many machines together oh my god -
