Seriously though, I’ve been playing nonstop trying to unlock everyone, it’s been tedious, but kinda fun so :P
How’s everyone else doing? -
Are you playing the story mode? That's the easiest way to unlock them.

I’m kinda a n00b at smash and video games in general, I don’t play them too often so half of this stuff is kinda foreign to me lol

Well, just a little tip, you'll be fighting a lot of spirits during the story mode all scattered in three main areas. You'll need to look up a guide for the final area if you want the true ending. That's all I can say without spoilers.
