The priest was really nice and helpful, showed us a lot of pictures of him and his friends and family in a slideshow. When the service was going on it was really silent with the occasional sniff, but when it ended everyone ran out crying and hugging each other. And that was when I started crying. I can’t deal with others crying because it makes me upset. It was also the first time I saw my step grandpa (my step uncles dad) cry. I’m glad I’m finally out of there, because when I’m sad I like to be alone unless my cousin is the one to comfort me (ily Eggaly)

you have my condolences, but we just have to believe that he’s in a better place now, always hold him in your heart.
i was very close to my grandpa, he was like a father to me because i was around him so much. his passing was devastating, but it’s a part of life. i try to remember how much i loved him and everything he did for this world and smile, instead of thinking about the sadness. -
I don’t really like the saying “in a better place now.” I mean I don’t mind it, but I believe the best place to be is with family and friends.

i know it’s overused, but i meant that it’s better for him to be at peace than sick and suffering. i know it’s hard to think about.

well, if you think about it he probably has other friends and family that he's been missing in the same place he went.

Ye I guess...
