My dog isn’t acting right. Two days ago he was so timid and afraid, not to mention the barfing. We tried to feed him and he only ate a little. He was dehydrated last night due to the fireworks and today every little sound spooks him.
He’s being the opposite of his normal, energetic self. When you comfort him he doesn’t seem to take notice and he’ll just stare straight ahead. -
Is anyone’s dog acting like this too?

Well, anyways, I gotta go. Hopefully he’ll drink some water and eat some food.

I'd just blame it on the fireworks. Sparkles gets super scared around fireworks. She won't even let herself be comforted.
We went to the vet, and they gave us some pills for her to take. It made no difference, and she started misbehaving. When we stopped giving them to her, she stopped being naughty.
But you have a different kind of dog. It might work for him.
