Oh, that's so sad :(
I've never heard of people thawing chicken in the bathtub. We use the sink. -
We only had one sink available and my mom was thawing two chickens

The sad thing about my dog was that we never planned to get him. When we moved to Texas my parents promised us a dog, so my sister and I did a bunch of research on hypoallergenic dogs that would be good for our family. We were in the pool one summer when my mom called and told us she just bought a dog.
Imagine my reaction. I wouldn’t accept him when he was brought home. I was super upset, months of research and your puppy still comes from the side of the road from a mysterious breeder?
I learned to like him but my mom’s always been his favorite, no wonder. So, my sister and I decided we wanted guinea pigs, after all Paco wasn’t really our dog. My dad decided it was only fair and we got our two guinea pigs, Sprout and Berry in January. I have to admit, they really aren’t the same as dogs no matter how much I love them, there”s limits to what they can do.
So.... a couple months later my sister and I tell my parents that we wanted a bernedoodle. We listed our reasons and they said that as long as paid for the dog itself (not all of it’s food, bowls, or stuff like that, just the individual dog). That’s kinda bad, bernedoodle are a highly expensive breed of dog. So we came up with an allowance, my parents would pay us $6 a day each and at the end of the year we would end up with enough money for the dog.

We bought Sparkles without telling my dad. We'd been looking for a dog for awhile. so my dad came home for work, and I was like, "We got a dog!" He looked at me and said, " ...what? " "We got a dog today!" He was fine with it, but a little off because qe didn't tell him.

I would videotape that moment. I’ve decided to take a bunch of pictures of our bernedoodle when we get him, that way we’ll have plenty of good moments to look back on.
I even want to video record the whole drive to the breeder and back -
I couldn't take a video of it. I was in 2nd grade. I didn't have a kindle yet.

I hate it when you think your dog will look adorable in a pile of stuffed animals or something and he chooses his flat crate over a fluffy pile of fluff -

Paco tried to eat my stuffed animals. His favorite animal of mine would probably be this giant shaggy dog that he cuddles with

My brother and I threw covers at my dog once and he had a whole pile of them on top of him. He stopped movie and we got really scared.
It turns out he fell asleep almost instantly while under there. -
We'll put Sparkles under a blanket and make her try to get out.

I wish Paco knew more tricks. He knows paw, heel, sit, stay, come, fetch, dance, stand. But he doesn’t tend to do them that well.
