i think the issue is that my mom doesn't see going out during the pandemic as risking one's life. or if she does, it's only her own life.
it's... not a good feeling to know that your mother would risk your life to maintain the status quo with her friends. it's not a good feeling to know that your mother's friends would rather eagerly ask for non-essential items than question her logic
am i being overly dramatic? absolutely. but i'm afraid -

i reset my old ipod today to put some good lowkey/calm down music on it and i'm wondering now how likely the odds are of it being older than some of the users here -
