Random ramble time(spoilers for my Legends of Calian story/comic)
So about Captain. Hes not the good guy. He was made into a vessal for the got of the void and the process in doing so stripped him of what few morals he had. While at the start of the story Captain is portrayed as a good guy, assisting a village in their rebellion against the king, its only because the ritual to merge his mind with Vale''s has not been compleated, due to the god being shattered into 3 peices. Hes not fully aware of his own actions, and is only doing what feels like the correct thing to do. His main goal is to find the shards of Vale and make them whole within himself, as he was designed to do. Each time he consumes a shard, he will drift further from his role as a 'good' character to an 'Evil' one. Though, admittedly, Captian on his own is a good guy. Hes just serving as a puppet/container for a very destructive god who wishes to plunge the world to darkness. Captian does eventually snap free from the force that is driving him to gather the shards, but by that time he is no longer in control of his own body and cant stop the Primordial God from being compleated. At the moment im not sure if Captian is going to be surving the god being compleated, or if hes going to be consumed once the time comes
I may make an animaniac(?) For this but i dont know if i will or not -
Captians eyelights change depending on how in control of himself he is. If its just normal white or blue eyelights, then your actually talking to Captian rather then the vessel. This doesnt happen very often, so he will appear dazed and confused. If his eyelights are crescents(like here) then its the Vessal your talking to. If his eyelights are white rings, then his body is being directly controlled by the remnants of Vale(not the shards). After consuming 2 of the shards, he will have moments when his eyelights are void black, as Vale is controling him completely at that point

Fun fact the only way to actually talk to Captian is to some how get him heavily intoxicated
He will probably start screaming about the primodial in his head and panic because he has no idea whats going on or where he is
