Thread Topic: Hello
-
I hope you're able to find your peace. Losing a pet is hard. I read somewhere that the reason a dog's life is so much shorter is because they already know how to be happy and love unconditionally, whereas we humans take upwards of 30-60 years to figure it out. And sometimes even then we don't.
You gave him a loving, full life, something not all dogs have. I hope you and your family are okay and I wish you the best. ♡ -
I feel like they don't need words to talk. While it would be nice to hear them speak our language, I usually understand what my dogs want and have had multiple conversations with them (I bit be a bit crazy in that sense). But yeah, it's kind of difficult to explain, but you don't always need words to have a conversation or to know what someone else is feeling.
And my dogs definitely sass me back. My oldest one whines and stomps her feet if I am late on taking her for a walk or a car ride and then she wags her tail and gets excited when she knows I have caved into what she wants -
Thank you. That really means a lot and even though I started crying again from reading your words
but like, let's be real: I cry a lot, I really appreciate your message -
Okay, I stopped crying lol

♡ take care

I'm also pretty sure we're gonna end up getting another dog by the end of this summer (which will be our 8th in total), and I know my mom and I are like "well, maybe he'll be reincarnated and he'll be able to come back into our lives"
-
Thank you~

I once posted about my dog passing away 5 days before my 11th birthday. I remember having to put on a fake face on my 11th bday. When I came on later that day, no one cared, no one listened, no one even replied. But I’m happy you have some people here for you, in fact I’m kind of jealous.

That sucks, sorry about that. If I was active around that time, I'm sure I would've said something because I know that feeling.
It also might be because I have been on this site for 9 years, so more people probably know me (I hope) -
Thanks, I’m happy you replied. I was actually about to cry because it was 2 years later and still no one cared?
But I was wrong, and thank you for being there for me. -
People might not know because they usually stay to themselves, so they might've not seen you post about it. But just know that people do care, even if they don't say anything. They also just could've not known what to say
Of course~ Believe me, I know your pain -
In other news in my life: I think I'm gonna get the iPhone 11pro. I've had my 6s for about 4 years now (and have never done any of the updates on it), but I think I want to get the 11pro to take better pictures when I travel and hike

Also, I cried so much that I now have a headache and I can feel the puffiness in my eyes

And for some weird reason, certain words in my head are going Spanish. Like instead of the English word, I think of the Spanish word and I haven't spoken Spanish in 2-3 years and even then, my Spanish is no bueno

And Korean's getting thrown in there too. But I actually can probably hold a conversation in Korean and I learned it more recently and am reading Harry Potter in Korean so that makes a little more sense to me as to why I think of the Korean word first. Now, granted, my vocabulary is like that of a toddler's, but I can probably get through a conversation
