Am I allowed to make art based on already existing material (such as characters from a television show or comic) or does the piece have to be entirely your own concept???? -
if it's done in your style without being an inch-by-inch copy of the work it's based off of, and if it fits the theme, you should be good. But thats a question for jilly

When I said be "original or unique", I was mostly referring to not submitting old work. If you lightly reference an older work, or an existing idea, that's fine.

I won't be able to do it. I can't think of anything (my brain's been very dead in terms of creativeness), and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it done in time.
