I like to take old writing that had potential and
hyper fixate on it, but do nothing with itTry to revamp them. -
Lmao that feature literally saved me when I first came back here a few months ago and I had realized that I had used my high school's name in one of my stories, so I went back and changed that. Like goddamn I was a stupid teenager

To be fair, I doubt most people will assume you're using the real name of a place you know. And even if they did, how many people would take the time to look it up? lol

Yeah I know, but the paranoia in me is strong. Even though I don't live anywhere near there anymore and I have no social media so there's really nothing I should be afraid of (I was worried that someone was going to find out that this is actually me).

One of my oldest and well loved oc’s originated from either a role play on here, or my lotr phase.
He was also inspired by Minecraft diaries.
But he’s a serious character in so many of my projects.
He used to be cringey but now I think he’s cool. -

That's good that you were able to make something cringey into something cool. I'm also really impressed that you stuck with that character because lord knows I would've abandoned everything about that character and just kept the name
See, the other issue that I'm having with deleting everything is that my old friends on here commented on my stories and sometimes when nostalgia really hits me, I like to go back and look at their profiles -
oh.. yeah those are pretty important
