We start school at the end of August. Sometimes the Beginning of September.

It's weird. We always start school on the 17th or 18th of August, and end it on either the 23rd or the 24th.

We always start school on a tuesday and have the week after that be labor day. So if September 1st is on a Tuesday, then the first day of school is September 1st. But we end school usually on a Wednesday, usually the 2nd week of June. But not this time.

My school seems to like starting on a Wednesday or a Thursday, and same for the end of school.

That is so weird. Why Friday though? That's just a really weird day to start.

For real? Wow, that sucks. All the teachers at my school are like "have your parents sign this" and "get these school supplies" but that's it. It's not like they teach you a math lesson on the first day of school.

Everyone brings their school supplies the day before school starts. Then you know if you've forgotten something. The first day of school is basically, going through the rules, and then if you are in a subject the things you are taught are just review. As in, I thought I learned this in 3rd grade.
