Symptoms are a fever and having difficulty breathing or coughing a lot. It originated in Wuhan, China and is now being spread to other parts of the world due to people from that infected region traveling since the Lunar New Year is this week. Also, it is suspected that the death toll is higher than 17 people because a few people that have died with all of the symptoms of coronavirus have just had their cause of death be labeled as "severe pneumonia". And the first person to be confirmed to have this illness had it on December 8th, but the Chinese government didn't say anything till December 31st when it started spreading, so yeah, more people are probably infected than we are told so just be cautious y'all
