I go camping every summer, and then I also go to two camps. One's where we sleep in cabins, it's not really camping, but it's really fun. Then the other one was in the Rocky Mountains, where it was more like camping.
-
It sounds like fun.
-
It's weird seeing you without a blue profile pic.
It was. We also hiked up Mt. Elbert, which is the tallest in Colorado. -
Wow.
Why is it weird? -
Because I've just gotten used to it. Blue magical creature = Clarke. It's easier just looking at the pictures than the usernames for me.
Yeah. I was super mad at myself, because I got altitude sickness. At the treeline. That's one of the lowest places you can get it. -
You are right. It is easier.
Why were you mad at yourself? It was not your fault. -
Sorry, it deleted everything I was writing.
-
What were you writing?

So, you have to do some exercises to show that you have the endurance to climb the mountain. If you didn't make it, you couldn't go. I didn't make it. But the counselor that was running it said that he'd let me go, because he saw that I had tons of willpower, determination, and stubborn. And he said that that made up for endurance.
So I barely got in.
And then, I got altitude sickness at the treeline. The only one that got it at the treeline. And altitude sickness is not fun. I hated feeling like I was weak. But like the counselor said, I'm stubborn, and have tons of willpower and determination, and that's the only way I ever got to the peak. -
That is good. You got to the peak, so shouldn´t you be proud instead of mad?
-
I'm proud at myself that I got to the peak, but mad at myself because I got altitude sickness at such a low altitude.
-
That makes sense.
-
Well, I think in terms of battle.
-
Why in terms of battle?
-
I have no idea. Probably because most of the books I read are with wars in it.
