I mean, what kind of character did you want to join? What kind of species? I could work you in, like your character lives in the forest or something and would like to join our group

ReeseButtercup NewbieGotcha! So, I was thinking of being a mermaid who was exiled from the water because she fell in love with a human. She was turned into a human and the mermaids killed her lover, and she wants to bring him back to life. I can change it if it's stupid, but I was thinking she could meet you guys while she's wandering in the forest?

What she was a triton instead? (A triton is a d&d species I believe, they're mermaid-like but more humanoid)
I'm only asking for a change because this is similer to Avalon's backstory (he's a naga who fell in love with a mermaid, and she died, now he wants to resurrect her)
I don't think the mermaids in this world we created would be that cruel anyways, we've been roleplaying for a while and they've already been established as gentle creatures -
